UTM labels every program Type 1, 2 or 3, indicating whether there are entry requirements and whether spaces are limited. Same idea as St. George's open/limited split, different vocabulary. You can only enrol in programs offered at your own campus.

Opposite shape to St. George. UTM requires Advanced Functions and both sciences; St. George requires Calculus and only recommends the sciences.

Traps

    UTM needs MHF4U, not MCV4U

    A student who took Calculus and dropped Advanced Functions is eligible at St. George and ineligible at UTM. The reverse is also true. Check both if you're applying to both.

    UTM may auto-review you for an alternative program

    UTM may invite qualified applicants to be auto-reviewed for an alternative program if space allows, unlike Western and Queen's, which make no alternate offers at all.
